Founder of Lucknow Public School, C P Singh Sir was remembered by everyone on 21 September 2024. Remembrance Day ceremony was preceded with the floral tribute at the Jankipuram branch. All the teachers held a moment of silence and pledged to follow his ideals that moment was both a tribute and a reflection. Although brief, it provides an opportunity for teachers to share the significance of this day.
लखनऊ पब्लिक स्कूल सेक्टर एफ जानकीपुरम में दिनांक 9 सितंबर 2024 से दिनांक 14 सितंबर 2024 तक हिंदी सप्ताह का आयोजन किया गया। इस बार हिंदी सप्ताह का विषय 'स्त्री सम्मान' था जिसमें प्रतिदिन विशेष प्रार्थना सभा के अंतर्गत छात्रों द्वारा 'स्त्री सम्मान' संबंधित विशेष कविता, वाद विवाद प्रतियोगिता प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता आदि का आयोजन किया गया। तत्पश्चात और भी प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया जैसे सामूहिक चर्चा, कहानी/पत्र लेखन, श्रुतलेख, ई मेल लेखन, कविता उच्चारण, स्लोगन लेखन तथा शब्द अंताक्षरी।इसी के सापेक्ष हिंदी शब्द ज्ञान प्रतियोगिता, अनुच्छेद लेखन प्रतियोगिता और कहानी पूरी करो प्रतियोगिता का भी आयोजन किया गया। इस सात दिवसीय समारोह में विभिन्न प्रकार के समन्वयक गतिविधियों का आयोजन प्री प्राइमरी विंग,प्राइमरी विंग, जूनियर विंग, सीनियर विंग द्वारा किया गया जिसमे सभी कक्षाओं के छात्र छात्राओं ने भाग लिया| छात्रों ने बड़े उत्साह और उमंग के साथ हिंदी सप्ताह को मनाया तथा इन गतिविधियों द्वारा स्वयं के अंदर ध्यान केंद्रित करने और गर्व , जिज्ञासा की भावना पैदा करने की प्रेरणा ली।अंततः यह एक सप्ताह का समारोह कविता गायन तथा अपनी मातृभाषा के प्रति प्रेम भाव और गर्व पूर्ण स्वीकार करके इसे दैनिक व्यवहार में उपयोग करने की शिक्षा का ज्ञान दिया और इसी प्रण के साथ हिंदी सप्ताह का समापन किया गया।

An inter-house Yoga competition was organized in the school premises on 7 th September 2024 . Four students as a team of classes III and V were selected to represent their house. There was a spectacular and beautiful display of talent, confidence, strength and flexibility by the Yoga performers .The participants were judged by Ms Renu Gautam on the basis of flexibility, coordination, grace and correctness of posture.This competition endeavoured to provide a platform to the students to exercise their yoga skills. The performers were applauded and cheered by the spectators. The spectacular performance and flawless asanas by Karan House left the audience spellbound. They bagged the first position,
followed by Bharat House.

A celebration conducted at Lucknow Public School by our students on 4th Sept 2024. The whole function was planned by the students of grade IX to XII with incredible gusto and zeal. Fun filled games were planned at the school Green ground which reminded the teachers of their school days and made them feel nostalgic. That was not all , the students planned many spectacles for the day and showcased many scintillating dance and singing performances, on some peppy numbers which highlighted the heart-warming relationship between a teacher and a student.

This year students of class 1 and 8 participated in Card making activity for Teachers Day on 4th September 2024 .The children were really excited to make cards for their teacher's and have come out with really good and imaginative ideas of making cards. The love and care reflected through their cards which really made us feel how important we are in building their lives. This activity was really fun, it has built a connection between the child and the teacher.
On 24 August, 2024, An Inter-house speech competition was organized on the "Convenience has taken fun out of our Lives". It is the need of the hour that students learn to differentiate the changes in our lives that have taken place with time and how it has taken the real fun in little things from them. This competition was conducted among class XII students to know their opinions on the same. Ayushi Maurya from Bharat house, Sukriti Srivastava from Dhruv house, Pranshu Srivastava from Eklavya house and Harshwardhan Singh from Karan House participated wholeheartedly in the competition and Harshwardhan from Karan house won the competition. The Competition was concluded by Principal ma'am's Speech. She appreciated all the participants and motivated other students to learn how to find the lost fun in little things in our Life.
The Inter-House Quiz Competition for students of classes 3 to 5 was held on August 28, 2024. The event featured rounds on science, math, and general knowledge, including an Oral Round, Rapid Fire Round, and an audience round. Bharat House secured first place, while Karan House took second. The competition was intense, with enthusiastic participation from both contestants and the audience. Principal Ms. Shabnam Singh announced the results, congratulating the winners and wishing them success in future quizzes.
On August 29, the school celebrated National Sports Day with a special assembly where the sports and vice sports captains delivered speeches. A quiz on sports was also conducted to engage students. The school organized an Inter-House Volleyball competition for both boys and girls from the senior wing. The matches were intense and captivated both players and the audience. Karan House won the boys' category, while Bharat House secured first place in the girls' category. The event was a memorable experience for both the participants and the spectators.
Lucknow Public School, Jankipuram had organized Hindi Group Elocution activity for classes III to V. Theme was - Patriotism. Participants of all four houses – Bharat, Karan, Eklavya and Dhruv. Whole heartedly participated in this activity. This activity developed patriotism, speaking ability, coordination and confidence among students. In this activity Karan house got 1st position and Bharat house 2nd position.
LPS, Jankipuram organized an Inter-House Badminton Tournament for the junior wing, showcasing the players' stamina and agility. The event was filled with enthusiasm from both players and spectators. Bharat House won the boys' category, while Eklavya House secured first place in the girls' category. The players displayed impressive skills, demonstrating that "practice makes perfect." It was a remarkable display of talent and sportsmanship.
Janmashtami 2024 is to be celebrated throughout the world on August 26, Monday. Celebrated to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna, it is a festival filled with devotion, music, dance, and colourful decorations. For students it's an excellent opportunity to learn about Indian culture and traditions while engaging in creative craft activities. These activities not only teach them about the significance of the festival but also add a fun and educational element to the celebrations.
Pre-primary students of Lucknow public school, jankipuram branch coloured and decorated the matka with different types of small mirrors. It was a fun activity. They saw a movie based on stories of Lord Krishna.
Everyone enjoyed it a lot .
To commemorate Independence Day, an Inter-House Soft board Decoration Competition was held in the senior wing. Each house creatively decorated their boards with images, quotes and artwork honouring the nation. The competition not only showcased the creativity of the students but also deepened their sense of patriotism and gratitude towards the armed forces. With an aim to inculcate the habit of working together as a team and loyalty towards the House, an Inter-House Board Competition was organized in the School. The zeal and vigour of the students was evident from the efforts put in by them in displaying their respective boards.

Rakshabandhan is a festival which celebrates the love and affection of brother and sister. Students of Pre primary celebrated the festival of Rakhi on 16th August 2024. Tiny tots of Pre primary wing came in their favourite dress. The girls tied the rakhi to boys and boys shared the chocolates with them. Students of Pre-nursery, Nursery and KG coloured the drawing sheet with their own choice of colours and displayed a beautiful and colourful rakhi. Later on they decorated Rakhi with their favourite stones . The event definitely brought smiles on the faces of the students.

It is a proud moment for everyone as we are approaching the 77th independence day on 15th August 2024. The pre primary section came up with an interesting activity to help the students know more about the significance of the day. A tricolour paper pasting activity was conducted in the class Nursery and K.G. They explained the meaning of the three colours of a flag. students participated in this activity with full zeal and zest.

Tiny tots dressed up as different freedom fighters. This activity helps children to build their confidence level. They also learnt how to dress up and present themselves in front of an audience. Students gained an understanding of recycling and the importance of reducing waste, contributing to a more sustainable environment.

Jankipuram organized several Library activities on the occasion of national Librarians day such as article writing on the topic “Importance of Libraries in academic institutions”, News and Views, Create Character Profile, Cover Page designing, Book Mark Making Activity for different classes. The competition aims to encourage and expand the innovative and creative thinking among the students through offering them the opportunity to express their unique thoughts. These activities helped children to build confidence and social skills. Students showed their interest and performed all the activities with zeal and zest.
The Quit India Movement, also known as the August Movement, was a significant milestone in India's struggle for independence from British rule. It began on August 8, 1942, when the Indian National Congress, led by Mahatma Gandhi, passed a resolution demanding an end to British rule. On the Day of Quit India Movement students a Special assembly was conducted at Lucknow Public School, Jankipuram. The Assembly was started with Morning Prayer and the pledge was delivered by and the thought of the day was given by Srajan Singh. Assembly was further continued with a Special Speech given by Anshika Shukla and Ashwika from class XII-A and a small Quiz session which was hosted by Vamika Singh from class X-C on Quit India Media. The Assembly was concluded with motivational speech and a few facts shared by Principal Ma'am.
Van Mahotsav Week is celebrated to raise awareness among individuals regarding the importance of trees and inspire citizens to plant more of them . Nowadays deforestation is an emerging concern and Van Mahotsav Week aims to combat the environmental imbalance caused due to this action .Under this LPS, Jankipuram Students of Primary wing, Junior wing and Senior wing organised a series of activities. Keeping the spirit of Van Mahotsav alive Special assembly, Show and tell activity, Writing Article, Sapling distribution, Logo Designing, PPT making and a Rally with the on-going tree plantation was conducted to educate people and students to save trees and encourage them for the plantation. Van Mahotsav through this initiative became a meaningful and awakening event for all with the clear message that Van Mahotsav is not a day or week of celebration; it's something to carry throughout the journey of life to make it worth living.

The school organized The International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2024, which is celebrated all over the world. This idea was proposed by our honourable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi. He said, “Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfilment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. International Yoga Day was celebrated by the teachers at Lucknow Public School with great enthusiasm. Teachers demonstrated various yoga asanas. Warm up exercises were taken and all the teachers performed sitting and standing asana, importance of these were explained simultaneously by Mr. Praveen Shukla sir. The celebration concluded with a speech by our Principal. She encouraged teachers to practice regular yoga to remain fit and improve concentration.

The International Day of Workers or International Labour Day is observed on May 1 each year to honor workers and laborers worldwide.This year, the tiny tots of Class Nursery to II of Lucknow Public School, sector-F Jankipuram celebrated Labour Day with great enthusiasm.They presented Goodies to encourage and appreciate the hard work put in by them for smooth conduction of Day to day activities in the school .
Yellow is the colour of sunshine and joy. Pre- nursery children celebrated "Yellow Colour Day" with happiness. They were not only dressed in their favourite yellow dress but also brought yellow objects to make it a complete "Yellow Day". The motive of celebrating this day was to make children aware of yellow colour.
International Labour Day is celebrated annually on May 1st. This day honors the contributions and achievements of workers worldwide and recognizes their importance in building societies and economies.A special assembly was conducted on the occasion of International Labour Day. Assembly started with morning prayer, the pledge was delivered by Pratishtha Rastogi and the thought of the day was given by Srajan Singh. Assembly was further continued with a Special skit on labour dignity and inspiring speech presented by Samriddhi Rai. The day was concluded with motivational speech and a few facts shared by Principal Ma'am.

On the occasion of Labour's Day, an activity of Role- play was presented by the students of Class III to V of Primary Wing to appreciate and celebrate the effort of the labour force in our country. Students were enacted as different workers and informed us about their crucial role in our society.
Badminton is a much-admired sport which requires strength, endurance, as well as mental capabilities leading to self-discipline and a healthy lifestyle. To develop the sportsman spirit and physical fitness of the students an Inter-House Badminton Competition was organised for the senior wing students of four houses of LPS, Jankipuram. Both boys and girls teams from all of the four houses participated in the tournament with full enthusiasm. Dhruv house from the boy’s team won the match while on the other hand Bharat house from the girl’s category won the match. The fun-filled day was a true treat to the eyes of all fans present there.
April 22 is designated as World Earth Day to support the planet’s well-being and promote public awareness about the issue. On the occasion of Earth Day, a PPT making competition was organised for class IX and X on the topic "Save Earth Save life". PowerPoint presentations have revolutionized the way ideas are conveyed, discussed, and analysed. Presentations become interesting and appealing when students make it very creatively. Impactful PPT helped the students to deliver the message to "Save Earth Save life".
The Table Calendar Making activity took place within the school premises on the 20th of April, centered around the theme 'My Heritage, My Pride.Four students from each house were chosen to participate who demonstrated their creativity with fervor and enthusiasm.
The essay writing competition was organized for the senior wing students of class XI and XII on the occasion of earth day. The competition aims to encourage and expand the innovative and creative thinking among the students through offering them the opportunity to express their unique thoughts while writing essays. Students showed their writing and creative thinking skills and enjoyed the activity by presenting their thoughts on the given topics.
The day started with Morning Prayer and a beautiful message where students were reminded to save Mother Earth by doing simple doable actions. Each one of them made a pledge to give effort in our daily life to make this beautiful planet thrive. Students presented a group song on this special day. The assembly ended with the national anthem.
To enable the kids to appreciate and preserve the rich cultural heritage of our country ,students of Class I and II participated in College Making Activity on the Theme-Our Heritage, Our Pride .This was the creative activity in which students learn through selecting, assembling and pasting materials together. It is a fun-filled activity that allows the child to explore and express themselves artistically.
Primary wing students of class I, enjoyed vegetable printing activity. The Purpose of the activity was to make students learn about the importance of the gift of our mother earth. They dipped the vegetables like potato, capsicum, lady's finger in water colour and printed those on number one written on a chart paper, at the same time they made faces representing them through vegetable printing. Kids also discussed the importance of eating green vegetables for healthy sense organs and happy life.
In order to test the creativity of our students, a Pottery Decoration Competition was organized for the students of the Primary Wing of Lucknow Public School, Jankipuram Branch. This competition filled the atmosphere with a spirit of mirth, happiness and love.Children created beautiful and inspiring combinations of colours and patterns in different designs on pots.This competition gave the students a break from their routine life.The winners were selected on the basis of their imagination and creativity.
A Special Assembly was conducted on 18th April on the occasion of the World Heritage Day. It consisted of an engaging line-up of events, beginning with a solemn prayer and the recitation of the pledge . The introduction of a miniature Model United Nations session ignited critical thinking among all. The inclusion of thoughts in both English and Hindi highlighted the cultural diversity and varied world heritage. A stimulating quiz was held to test the knowledge of the students present there fostering a spirit of healthy competition. Finally, the assembly culminated with the National Anthem, symbolizing our collective pride and allegiance to the nation.
Our pre- Primary wing students enjoyed hand-printing activity at school. Under the supervision of their respective teachers, the students dipped their hands in various colourful paints and imprinted their palms on a chart paper. This activity helps in developing fine motor skills. Children get a chance to feel and play with the colours. It also helps the children in identification of different colours. Overall it was an enjoyable activity of palm print peacock, Giraffe, palm and lots more.
A special assembly was conducted on World health day on 6/04/24. Students of class VIII-A and VII-B conducted the assembly. The assembly started with the prayer followed by a health pledge and thought about motivating the students to keep good health followed by a speech highlighting the importance of World health day.
A Small presentation was given by the students on the impact of junk food on our health. Poem on healthy eating habits was recited by students of class VII-B. Class Teacher of Class 8A and 7B sensitized students about mental health. Assembly was conducted with the rendition of the National Anthem.

On the occasion of World Health Day, a "Show and Tell” Inter-House activity was organised for students of Classes III to V. Participants from each house spoke a few lines on the object of their choice. They even managed to include a social message in their descriptions. They participated in the competition with full zeal and enthusiasm as they came up with various interesting and useful objects like a sanitizer, bottle of milk, handkerchief, dustbin, colin etc. Some of them also described the importance of including fruits in our diet in an impressive manner. Through this activity, the students not only became aware about the importance of hygiene in their personal lives but also learnt about different healthy eating habits they can adopt in their day to day lives.
Hygiene is the science and art of maintaining and improving one's physical and mental well-being. Hygiene enables people to have a healthy interaction with their surroundings. With the help of this activity the child is made aware of the significance of a healthy lifestyle and how such measures can protect us from an unhealthy and germ free environment. The Benefit of the activity is that the child is able to know about the importance of health and cleanliness and they learn steps of how to wash hands.
Sports and games are essential to a kid' s overall development. Along with encouraging physical health , they also improve social and cognitive abilities. Keeping this thought in mind , different fun races ( Hurdle race, hoop hula and run and sit on chair were conducted for pre primary kids).It was a day filled with excitement, sportsmanship and memories to cherish.
A cheerful welcome helps children for a positive start to their school journey.To make this journey an exciting and successful and happy experience. A Grand welcome was organized for the students of the Pre-Primary wing.Tilak was applied on the foreheads of students and flower showering was done and various photographs were clicked at selfie point which was made for students and beautiful Takeaways of pencil eraser set and lollipops were given to the students which they enjoyed a lot.
Sorting Activity was done on 03.04.24 by the students of Pre -Primary wing.Sorting involves separating objects into groups according to their similarities. They were provided with mixtures of objects varying in shape , size and colour (grain , pulses , colours etc) They separated the objects falling into different categories based on their size , shape and colour. This activity helps in learning to categorise things.
To begin the new academic session, a Welcome assembly was organized by the teachers and students on 1st April, 2024. The assembly began with a prayer followed by a Welcome song sung by the students of junior wing, along with a dance performance by the students of primary wing to rejuvenate the students with joy and enthusiasm. The teacher of primary wing, Ms.Avneet Kaur delivered a speech to the students explaining the importance of the 3D's in life, i.e. Discipline, Dedication and Determination. The assembly ended with the inspiring
words of the Principal.
To enable the students to know about their school building , a School Tour activity was organised for the students of Class I and II .The students took a round of the school .They saw Principal’s Office, Playground, Swings, Parking Area, Office , Reception, Activity Room, Library, Computer Lab, Bio Lab, Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Senior wing, Primary wing, Pre-Primary wing, Activity room to help them to become familiar to these places in their school building.
“A HEALTHY BODY LEADS TO A HEALTHY MIND”
The first co- curricular activity of class IX to XII for the session 2024-2025 started with inter- house Advertisement making Competition. Each house consisted of four participants who made the advertisement on the given topic HEALTHY BODY AND MIND. The participants showcased their creativity and enthusiasm and made vibrant and vivid advertisements. The competition ended with the photography session.
The present-day lifestyle among students’ calls for the need for yoga and meditation, and these two should indeed be placed on an upper pedestal, in order to achieve the overall development of a student.Keeping this in viewpoint ,a Yoga session was organised for all the students of Class II in which students did different Asanas and meditated .
